If you press the [Energy Saver] key, even while the power switch is
still turned ON, the copier will enter the energy-saving Low power
mode. When the copier is in this Low power mode, the light the
lamp in the [Energy Saver] key will be the only lit indication on the
operation panel.
To resume copying after the Low power mode has been activated,
press the [Energy Saver] key once again.
It will take the copier less than 30 seconds to return to a copy-ready
state.
NOTE
The energy-saving Low power mode will also engage
automatically in this copier if no operation is performed
for a predetermined period of time. (See “
Auto low
power time ” on page 7-53.)
