Row monitoring is not working
Row monitoring is not
working
the KMS208 does
not detect the row
when switched on
Check:
- correct row allocation on the
connection plate and connector
status
- disconnect the cable extension for the
cell concerned and test the continuity
of the 3 wires
- test the resistance between each pair
of wires (resistance must be infinite)
- Test the continuity of the main
harness for the row concerned (see
table provided)
declutching fault
The switch is in declutched
position but the
corresponding red LED does
not light up on the KMS208
and the electromagnet is not
activated
Short-circuit on the
cable controlling the
declutching
mechanism, which
triggers the internal
row protection
device
Check:
- the general condition of the control
cable for the declutching mechanism
concerned (if necessary disconnect
the main harness extension and test
the resistance between the 2 wires. It
should be infinite)
- disconnect the electromagnet and try
again (the electromagnet may be
faulty)
- switch the box off for 10 to 20
seconds and then switch on again
The corresponding LED on the KMS208
should light up again (resetting the
internal protection in the box)
The switch is set to declutch
but the corresponding red
LED is flashing on sowing on
the KMS208 and the
electromagnet is not
activated
Electromagnet or
mechanical system
out of action
Open circuit in the
declutch control
cable
Check:
- that the electromagnet is activated
correctly when the switch is in
declutch position
There may be an open circuit in the
electromagnet control cable (no 12V at
the terminals)
- general condition of the cable
(crushed, cut)
- connector status
