LUBRICATION
Grease the following with SHELL Multi-Purpose grease NLG I grade 2 :
- Every 8 hours : PTO yoke bearings and telescopic drive tubes.
- Every 50 hours:
. the rotor gearboxes [3 grease zerks (N)] (photos 34, 35 and 36),
. tine arm bushings [grease zerks (M)] (photos 34 and 36),
. pivot pins (L) (photos 34 and 36),
. the DIGIDRIVE coupling (O) (photo 34),
. the adjustment rod (K) (photo 37).
. pivot point of undercarriage cylinder [grease zerk (Q) (photo 34)],
. the crank handle adjusting the rotor levelling,
. the drawbar pivot pins.
- When replacing a caster wheel, pack wheel cap and the space between both wheel hub bearings with grease.
Note : The central cam controlling tine arm movement is greased for life.
When necessary, lubricate the pivot points of the machine (locks, hydraulic cylinders, parking stand, crank handles
of the undercarriages, swath screen etc.) with SHELL X 100 motor oil.

PARKING
The GA 6000 must imperatively be put in the transport position [compensating spring (R)
released (photo 28)].
Always park the machine on even, fairly level ground.
The machine is equipped with a parking stand (D) so that the machine can be parked in transport position.
To park the machine, proceed as follows :
- Using the tractor hydraulic valve, lower the machine until the undercarriages come to a stop.
- Place the 2 metallic wedges (C) under the wheels on the same rotor (photo 33). The wedges should be positioned
according to the ground contours.
- Place PTO shaft (T) into its parking hook (S) (photo 33).
- Disconnect electrical plug (R) and male hydraulic couplings (F) and store them in the holes provided (photo 33 A).
- Remove the R-clip (P), lower the parking stand (D) in vertical position and put the R-clip (P) back in place (photo
33 A).
- Turn the handle (M) until the weight of the drawbar rests on the parking stand (D) and uncouple the machine.
