To switch over the machine from the work position to the transport position, proceed as follows :

- Secure the 3-point frame (B) by lowering lock (V) into place (photo 27).

- Locate the swath screen into position No. 1 which is nearest the rotor (photo 25 A) (see also sideways

adjustment, page 16).

- Raise the right side guard (L). To do so, stand in front of the machine and use your left hand to fold the swath

curtain horizontally underneath guard (L). Then manoeuvre handle (P) (arrow A photo 25 A) to unlock guard and

raise  the swath curtain (arrow A'  photo  25 A) until guard (L) automatically locks into the transport position (photo

28).

- Raise the left side guard (L'). To do so, manoeuvre handle (P) (arrow A, photo 25 ) to unlock guard (L') then raise

guard (arrow A’, photo 25) until it automatically locks into the transport position (photo 28).

- At  the  same  time  as  the  side guards (L and L') are raised, the rotor latch is activated through link rods (T)

(photo 26). To lock the rotor in place turn it manually by pulling a tine arm until the transport pin (S) engages (photo

26).

- Then remove the 9 tine arms (E) on the sides and rear of the machine, fix them into their racks (R) and lock them

into place with linchpins (photo 27). The 3 tine arms on the front of the machine do not need to be removed.

- Lower the tractor’s 3-point hitch until the machine rests on the parking stand and wheels.

- Disconnect the machine from the tractor.

- Hang PTO shaft (T) into its support (O) (photo 29).

Note

: Connecting and disconnecting the machine is facilitated when the 3-point frame is unlocked (lock V raised)

(photo 29).
