2° BOGIE AXLE

Kit no. 113 6180

This equipment is recommended for improved floatation when operating on irregular grounds. It helps stabilizing the

machine at high speed and reduces the loading placed on structural parts.

To attach the bogie axle, proceed as follows

- First remove both wheels (F) then both vertical sectors (A), both levers (B) and both pins (E) from the standard

wheel column support (10) (photo 34).

- Fit new pins (5) supplied with the kit onto the vertical sector supports (3) on the machine. To do this use plain

washers (2)(13 x 30 x 4) and self-locking nuts (1) (M 12) (fig. 34 A).

- Replace standard grease zerks (G) (photo 34) by 2 curved grease zerks (4) (fig. 34 A).

- Install pre-assembled left and right (9) wheel axles onto vertical sector supports (3) and secure with cotter pins

(6) (8 x 63) (fig. 34 A).

- Install linchpin (8) (10 x 60) and attach to cotter pins (6) with PVC cord (7) (fig. 34 A).

- To finish, fit both standard wheels (F) (photo 34) onto axle spindle (11) (fig. 34 A), respecting their positions.

To adjust bogie axle height, proceed as follows :

- Raise the machine with the tractor 3-point linkage.

- Remove linchpins (8) and pull wheel axles (9) away from the machine to free pins (5) (fig. 34 A).

- Position wheel axles (9) at the desired height and fully engage pins (5) in the corresponding vertical sector

hole (12) (fig. 34 A).

- Secure wheel axles (9) by reinserting linchpins (8) (fig.34 A).

ALWAYS ENSURE THAT BOTH WHEEL AXLES ARE ADJUSTED TO THE SAME HEIGHT.
