Trouble shooting guide

Mower conditioner

FC703 RA*

Badly shaped windrows.

Belts slip.

Retension belts.

Too low PTO speed (rotational

frequency).

Increase speed to 1000 min

-1

The control box does not come

on and controls no functions.

The thermal fuse is triggered.

Find the origin of the short

circuit.

Insufficient cutterbar ground

clearance in "headland turn"
position.

Incorrect tractor lift linkage

setting.

See machine attachment.

Too long levelling rod

adjustment on tractor 3-point
lift.

Shorten levelling rods on

tractor 3-point lift.

The mowing units do not fold.

The machine can only be put in

transport position if the
machine is in working position.

Place the machine in headland

turn position.

Check that right mowing unit

transport hook is fully engaged.

Adjust mowing unit upper travel

stop. (See maintenance and
storage chapter).

Check that the cutterbar lock is

unlocked.

Unlock cutterbars.
