2. Conformity with the road regulations
- Check that the signalling panels are clean and that the
lighting equipment functions before going on public
roads.
- Before driving onto a main road, ensure that upper
edge of signalling panel is not more than
H = 1.5 m (4’11’’) from the ground.
- In countries requiring the use of a flashing warning
beacon, switch on beacon to warn other road users of
the unusual dimensions of the machine and its slow
speed of travel.
- Make sure that transport lock (1) is fully engaged.
- Switch off work lights.
Before driving the machine on public roads,
ensure that the machine complies with
current highway code regulations.
In transport position the machine can exceed
height L = 4 m (13’1’’).
Immediately replace any worn or damaged
signalling panels or lights.
