XI. SIDE SEPARATING DISCS (No.120 82 20)
These discs improve soil movement towards
the rotor and thus achieve a better
definition between ploughed and tilled
land. The side separating discs (D) fit
to the cross bars (T) as shown in photo
8. They are adjustable in height on the
inside of their supports (C) using
adjustment pin (B).
XII. SAFETY GUARDS FOR GREAT BRITAIN
Part numbers of the safety guard sets are as follows :
1208440 for EL 100N-230
1208450 for EL 100N-255
1208460 for EL 100N-305
A set of safety guards is supplied with each machine for Great Britain. The component
parts for these sets are shown in the diagram below.
Assemble side guards (22) on both sides of the machine as shown in the diagram using
25 mm thick spacers (13) on the gear case side and 12 mm thick spacers (14) on the
right shield side.
Mount central guarding (1) and lateral guardings (6, 7, 8) on cross tubes (23) and
(24) respectively.
Length of angle plates (19) as well as quantity and respective position of lateral
guards (6, 7, 8) depend on machine width and selected optional equipment (skids or
wheels, wheel track eradicators, etc.).
