4. Slowly raise the K-Hitch until the driveline stub shaft
on the implement seats fully into the trunnion
opening on K-Hitch. When fully seated the lower
hitch pins on the implement will lock into the auto-
lock hooks on the K-Hitch.
5. If stub shaft does not seat fully, or hitch pins do not
lock in place, follow steps 6 & 7 below. Otherwise,
skip to step 8.
6. Lower K-Hitch until hooks (A & B) are low enough to
clear hitch points (a & b) on the implement. Pull away
from implement slightly and briefly engage then
disengage the power take-off on the tractor.
7.
Repeat steps 2-5.
Refer to Figure 1-4:
8. Once stub shaft is fully seated and lower hitch pins
are locked in place, slowly lower the implement to the
ground until the frame lock latches into the front hook
on the implement hitch frame. The lock handle will
lower slightly and pop back up when it locks.
9. Carefully raise and lower K-Hitch to ensure that the
drawbar, tires, and other equipment on the tractor do
not contact the K-Hitch frame or driveline.
10. Raise implement slightly off the ground, set tractor
throttle to idle or slightly above idle, and slowly
engage power take-off. Initial start-up vibration is
normal and should stop after a few revolutions. Stop
power take-off immediately if vibration continues or
any unusual noises are noticed.
11. Shut down tractor. Refer to
12. Investigate the cause of vibration/unusual noise and
make necessary corrections before continuing
operation.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the driveline stub shaft on the
implement seats fully into the trunnion opening on
the K-Hitch, and the lower 3-point hitch pins on the
implement lock into the auto-lock hooks on the
K-Hitch. Otherwise, damage to equipment can
occur.
