13.0 Automatic Fuel Filling Device, Fire Damper, Transport screw (if mounted)
The stoker may be fitted with a fuel filling device which will automatically handle the filling with fuel
from an external fuel stock. Such equipment appears from the below sketch.

Possible applications.
When open, the damper has a complete opening, without edges, therefore it is applicable for any kind of
biomass fuel including coarse wood chips.
Mode of operation.
When the sensor does not register fuel, it will report to the control.
The fire damper will open.
Once the fire damper is completely open, the external screw will start running.
The sensor reports to the control when fuel is registered again.
The screw stops and the damper close slowly, to allow for the damper to be completely empty before it is
fully closed.
Adjustment possibilities (see section 6.13+ 6.14).
TRANSPORT SC On:
Is the maximum time in seconds when damper and screw are activated,
however the process is stopped earlier if the sensor reports the presence of
fuel.
TRANSPORT SC Off:
The time interval in minutes for the sensor to check a possible need for fuel
feeding.
Maintenance.
Sensor:
Should be cleaned once a month or when needed. Use a (moist) cloth.
Rubber mouldings: Gaskets both at inspection door and where the damper closes tightly at
the top must shut absolutely tight, in order to avoid the risk of a backfire.
