Mark out and drill the holes for the eight composite anchor bolts.
Drill bit diameter 18 mm; bore depth 125 mm. Due to
site--specific and manufacturing tolerances, the hole pattern
data for the composite anchor bolts (dimensions F
A
, F
B
, F
C
) are
for orientation only!
Observe the installation instructions for the composite anchor
bolts given in section 3.1.
Drill a hole with Ø 18 mm and clean it (e.g. with compressed air).
Verify bore depth (125 mm).
It is imperative to observe the embedment depth (thread--free
section on the anchor bolt) and the manufacturer’s application
instructions!
Concrete quality at least C20/25 to DIN 1045 or equivalent
standard/Min. thickness of concrete 160 mm
.
Please note:
For full contact between the foot plates and the floor fill any
remaining gaps with UPAT chemical mortar (see section 7.8).
Observe
the
manufacturer’s
application
instructions
(supplementary sheet)! The mortar can only be applied when
the tank is empty and dry. Do not apply if there is still some
minimal water level in the tank (rainfall). The mortar cannot be
applied by divers.
Allow the composite anchor bolts and chemical mortar to cure,
then fasten the feet and retaining brackets.
Composite anchor bolt M16: tighten to a torque of 60 Nm;
secure fasteners with Loctite and lock nuts!
Any unfilled gaps remaining will result in
increased stresses on the composite anchor
bolts.
This may damage the composite anchor bolts, the mixer and
the installation parts.
Inadequate filling of any gaps remaining can invalidate any
liability of the manufacturer for consequential damage.
Differences in height between the bracing and the guide rail can
be compensated via the slotted holes in the retaining brackets
.
Guide rail
Holding bracket
The retaining brackets must be at right angles to the guide rail.
Tighten the bolts.
Tightening torques: M16x160; 150 Nm.
Do not forget to fit the lock nuts!
