Mounting the Braces or Prefabricated
Bracing for Amaprop 1200--2500 with
Adjustable Feet and Upper Holder
Putting the guide rail in upright position
Then use the crane to pull the pre--assembled unit into an
upright position and place the retaining brackets on their
installation positions marked out on the tank floor.
Make sure to use suitable lifting tackle for square rails! Observe
health and safety regulations as well as any regional
regulations. Make sure that the guide rail is in a perfectly vertical
position; note the jet direction, which is determined by the
orientation of the guide rail. If the guide rail is positioned
correctly, the upper holder, if any, will now touch the bridge.
Metal pads can be used, if necessary; install without
transmitting any stresses or strains!
Vertical alignment of guide rail using a spirit level
Placing the composite anchor bolts for fastening the lower
guide rail end
With the guide rail assembly in position, drill the holes for the
composite anchor bolts through the holes in the retaining
brackets.
Drill bit diameter 18 mm; bore depth 125 mm.
Then fit the 4 composite anchor bolts for the retaining brackets.
(Observe the installation instructions for the composite anchor
bolts, see section 3.1).
Drill a hole with Ø 18 mm and clean it (e.g. with compressed air).
Verify bore depth (125 mm).
It is imperative to observe the embedment depth (thread--free
section on the anchor bolt) and the manufacturer’s application
instructions!
Concrete quality at least C20/25 to DIN 1045 or equivalent
standard.
Placing composite anchor bolts for upper guide rail holder
(if any)
Drill bit diameter 14 mm; bore depth 110 mm.
Proceed in analogy; also observing section 7.2.
Allow for appropriate curing time (see section 3.1) before
tightening the bolts.
Also observe the installation instructions for the composite
anchor bolts, see section 3.1.
On upper holder M 12: tightening torque 40 Nm.
Guide rail
Holding bracket
On retaining brackets M 16: tightening torque 60 Nm; also
secure with Loctite and lock nuts!
The retaining brackets must be at right angles to the guide rail.
Now tighten the bolting.
Tightening torques: M16x160:150 Nm.
Do not forget to fit lock nuts!
Smooth raising and lowering of the unit with
pre--assembled guide claw requires that the
guide rail be installed in a perfectly vertical position!
