Instructions for solenoid standard opera-
tion
The forage wagon is equipped with solenoid valves which
allow hydraulic functions of the wagon to be preselected
at the control box. Thus the respective function required is
preselected at the control box by operating the corre-
sponding selector switch, so that the corresponding valve
is open. The tractor valve is then switched to "pressure"
until the function has been carried out. It is only possible
to switch one function at a time, so the other switches
must be in 0-position = middle position.
While the wagon is being loaded, the switch for pick-up
operation remains switched on and the tractor hydraulics
are switched to lower or float position, so that the pick-up
can move freely
If the hydraulic floor conveyor is to be switched on while
loading, the pick-up switch must first be switched to zero
position and the floor conveyor switch to "on". The tractor
hydraulics are then switched to "pressure" and the floor
conveyor operates. After floor conveyor operation, the
floor conveyor switch must be returned to 0-position, the
pick-up switch to "on" and the tractor hydraulics returned
to lower or float position.
Putting the hydraulic system into operation
with solenoid operation
(Titan 4/32 L only)
1. Couple tractor and universal drive shaft as described.
2. Attach the storage pocket for the electrical control box
on the mud guard of the tractor.
3. Insert the electrical control box on the mud guard.
Ensure safe positioning of the cables.
4. After cleaning couplings and plugs, connect pressure
and tank lines to tractor.

Connecting to the tractor
1. Hydraulic connection
Connect the pressure hose NW 15 (red protective cap)
and the return hose NW 18 (blue protective cap) to a
double-acting tractor valve with pressureless return or to
a single-acting connection with pressureless return
connection.
2. Electrical connection
First the 3-pin socket supplied must be attached to the
tractor and connected directly to the tractor battery (12
volts) using the cable supplied. Pay attention to correct
polarity (the cables are marked with "+" and "–")! The
connection is then made using the 3-pole cable supplied,
via the 3-pin socket at the front on the left of the wagon.
There is a safety fuse (16 amp.) in the positive cable.
There is also a fuse (16 amp.) in the control box.
If the electric system fails, first check the fuses.
Attention!
Only test the hydraulics at normal harvest-
ing temperatures. At very low temperatures
the oil is very viscous and all functions
react correspondingly slowly.
