- Connect the short steering pushrod 5.4 to the servo
output lever and the long pushrod 5.5 to the right-
hand tiller 5.3.
- Adjust the socket-head cap screw 4.10 so that it
does not interfere with the movements of the
steering system.
- Set both rudders to the ‚straight ahead’ position and
connect the two pushrods using the collet 5.6 and
grubscrew 5.7.
- The installation cradle is designed to allow various
battery arrangements.
- Engage the retaining rubber bands 5.9 in the two
glue-fitting rings 5.8 and fit the S-hooks 5.10
- Glue the rings 5.8 in the cradle to suit your battery or
batteries.
- Variant with one battery pack 5.11
- Variant with two battery packs 5.11
- Variant with two lead-acid batteries 5.11
- As standard the speed controller is designed for use
with a single battery pack.
- If necessary fit matching connectors to the battery
leads attached to the speed controller 5.12, to suit
the number and type of batteries you are using.
Note: if you are using only one battery pack see
illustration 1 in the wiring diagram at the end of this
instruction.
- If you are using two battery packs (wired in parallel)
see illustration 2.
- If you are using two lead acid batteries (wired in
series) see illustration 3.
- Make up the Y-lead 5.13 to suit your installation (see
wiring diagram).
