Evolution 707 Future Upgrades and Firmware

Firmware Updates

The Evolution 707 utilizes a software based engine. This enables fi rmware updates to be
accomplished in the fi eld rather than being returned to the factory. Firmware updates are sent via
the RS-232 port located on the back panel.

NOTE: Firmware upgrades are to be installed by an Authorized Krell Dealer or Distributor. Special
loading software and instructions are required to perform said updates. Please contact an authorized
Krell Dealer, Distributor or the Factory for information regarding fi rmware updates.

Future Upgrades

A B C D modes options (Not available at this time)

There are (4) buttons on the Remote control and also the front panel under the front panel display.
They will be enabled as quick access modes in the near future. These updates will be available via a
fi rmware update. Please consult Krell industries for details.

Mic Input (Not available at this time)

There is a mic input on the Evolution 707 front panel used to connect the supplied instrumentation
microphone. When enabled this will allow an auto setup option and basic room EQ. This update will
be available via a fi rmware update in the near future. Please consult Krell industries for details.
