Warning
When getting into and out of the loader, only use equipment designated for this purpose. Im-
proper use can damage the machine components! Loader components such as the driver’s seat,
control levers, etc., are not intended as aids in getting into and out of the loader and may be
damaged by improper use.

Use the cabin handrail (5) as support when getting into and out of the loader. The door frame (6) can also be used as an aid.
Always enter the loader in the front direction (Picture 36):
1. Grasp the handrail (5) with your left hand and hold.
2. Grasp the handle (4) with your right hand and open the door towards you.
3. Place the left foot on the bucket tread (1).
4. Place the right foot on the arm tread (2).
5. Grip the handrail (5) with your right hand, and at the same time hold the handrail (5) for support with your left hand.
6. Get into the loader and seat yourself in the driver’s seat. Exit the loader in the reverse order of steps.
10.6 ADJUSTING THE DRIVER’S SEAT GRANT ST PLUS
Do not adjust the driver’s seat or backrest while driving.
Adjust the driver’s seat and seat back so that you can operate all the controls safely.
Check that the driver’s seat and seat back are securely adjusted.
Make sure there are no objects in the area of the driver’s seat so as to prevent injuries.
Danger
When using another type of work device (3), adjust entering the loader accordingly.
Warning
There is a risk of an accident if the driver’s seat or the seat back suddenly moves, as the driver
could start making uncontrolled movements. Such movements can cause unintentional activation
of steering or controls and subsequent uncontrolled movement of the loader or its load.
