ADJUSTING THE MINIMUM FLAME WHEN CHANGING THE GAS TYPE
When changing the type of gas, the adjustment of the flame must be carried out as follows:
-
if there is a glass front panel, it has to be removed by unscrewing the two fixing screws (Fig. A)
- if there is a metal front panel, the adjustment can be done through the open area around the knobs on
the left side. (Fig. B)
See the
figure 5
below
Turn on the oven and let it heat up to the maximum temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Turn the thermostat knob to the minimum position and adjust the bypass to the minimum flame so as to
reach for a reduced but stable flame. Perform this operation with the door of the oven closed. Use a flat-head
screwdriver on the bypass screw to adjust. Loosen the screws several turns to adjust to the minimum flame
when changing from liquid gas to natural gas.
Important:
once the burner flame has been adjusted, make sure that the minimum flame is maintained
regular and steady, perform testing and check by trying to open and close the door of the oven.
If the flame blows out, adjust by means of the bypass.
Complete the operations (change the injector, adjust the air flow and the minimum flame).
Turn off the oven, replace old data plate with the new one (which shows the type of gas which is being used)
and apply seals by using sealing wax or similar.

BEFORE USING THE OVEN FOR THE FIRST TIME
Make sure that the electrical wires of other electrical appliances near the hob or the oven do not come into
contact with hot parts and do not become entrapped in the oven door.
Your oven is equipped with a tangential cooling fan the purpose of which is to cool the internal parts of the
kitchen cabinet, and the oven components. The cooling system starts working immediately and stops from
10 to 30 minutes after the oven is switched off (depending on the oven temperature). Do not use the oven if
the cooling fan is not operating correctly. Contact the service centre immediately.
Do not obstruct the cooling fan openings under the front panel of the oven, or the fume exhaust.
Attention
: before proceeding with the following operation, the oven must be unplugged from the electrical
mains.
Remove the cardboard protection and the protective plastic film.
Before using the oven, carefully clean the internal cavity, the racks, the grid and the drip tray with non-
abrasive soap.
Remove the accessories from the oven and heat it at the maximum temperature setting for about 30 minutes
in order to eliminate any residual grease, oil or resins from manufacturing, which may cause unpleasant
odours during cooking. Keep the window open during this operation. Then ventilate the room.
Insert the grid and the drip tray in their respective runners.
Once completed this simple operation, the oven is ready to cook for the first time.
