Heat is directed onto the food from the top towards the bottom. Recommended for: grilling
small quantities of food (toasts, hot sandwiches, etc.)
Keep the oven door open and use the knob protection.

GAS BURNER WITH FAN

This type of cooking is particularly delicate and slow. It is suitable for delicate dishes or for
reheating pre-cooked foods. Also suitable for baking and for cooking foods that require heat
to be concentrated from the bottom of the chamber.

SWITCHING ON THE GAS OVEN

The gas oven has an electric ignition.

Open the door

of the oven and make the following operations:

Press the thermostat knob slightly and turn it anticlockwise to max position;
Press it again to the right in order to start the electric ignition.
Please, note, that the electric ignition must not be pressed for more than 15 seconds. If the burner does not
start in 15 seconds,

keep the door open

, and wait for at least 1 minute before trying again the electric

ignition.
Note: when using the electric ignition for the first time, it is quite normal having to try several times, due to the
air inside the gas pipe.
Once started the flame of the gas burner, keep pressed the knob for 10 seconds so as the thermocouple
warms up deactivating the safety valve, which otherwise would block the gas flow.
Close the door and check if the oven burner has started. If not, repeat the operations described above,

keeping the door open

Always check the correct operation of the burner with the door closed.
