Synchronized playback with the EA-1

By synchronizing the

Electribe ER-1

and

EA-1

you can enjoy even greater performance

possibilities. Here's how you can make the

EA-1

playback in synchronization with the

tempo of the

ER-1

Use a MIDI cable to connect the

MIDI OUT

connector of the

ER-1

to the

MIDI IN

connector of the

EA-1

. Connect the line output jacks of the

ER-1

and the part output jacks of the

EA-1

to your mixer or powered monitor

system (amplified speakers).

1. Press the MIDI mode key to move to MIDI mode.

2. Use the cursor [

][

▼

] keys to make the parameter se-

lect LEDs indicate

MIDI ch

ER-1

channel to "

channel to

4. Press the Global mode key to move to Global mode.

If you want the

ER-1

and

EA-1

to play the iden-

tically-numbered pattern in synchronization,
make the following settings.

• Use a MIDI cable to connect the

MIDI OUT

connector of the

EA-1

to the

MIDI IN

con-

nector of the

ER-1

• Synchronizing the

ER-1

to the

EA-1

master.(Set the

EA-1

," and the

ER-1

• Set the

messages are transmitted.

It is also easy to make the

ER-1

playback in synchronization by connecting it to a se-

quencer or synthesizer that can transmit and receive MIDI Clock messages.
