Ethernet INTERFACE
The coolMONSTER/PM comes with one Ethernet interface, which uses the ICH4’s integrated 32-bit PCI
LAN controller in combination with the Intel® 82562 platform LAN connect device. The network
controller supports a 10/100Base-T interface. The device auto-negotiates the use of a 10Mbit/sec or
100Mbit/sec connection.
All major network-operating systems and several real-time and embedded operating systems support the
interface.

Connector
The 10/100Base-T interface is available on a standard 8-pin RJ45 jack. It is available at the slot panel of
the coolMONSTER/PM through Connector X7.
