Reconnect the LED/switch board power and signal ribbon cable to the FP board.

Replace the front bezel. For instructions, see “Re-Installing the Front Bezel” in
Section 3.2.

If this is the last task you are performing inside the server chassis, replace the
front chassis cover, reconnect the power cord(s), and reconnect any external
devices.

Replacing the Telco Alarms Module (TAM)
The TAM board is on the right side of the CG2100 server chassis floor, just behind the
front panel. Before you can replace the TAM board, you must remove the front chassis
cover and black protective cover over the front panel board. You may also have to
remove the front panel board, or at least loosen it and slide it back, in order to
access the TAM board.
CAUTION: Before replacing any of the boards on the CG2100 server, you must first take
the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to the
server, turn off the server by pressing the power button, and unplug the power
cord(s) from the system and wall outlet.
Removing the Old Telco Alarms Module
To remove the TAM board:
1.
Remove the front chassis cover. For instructions, see “Removing the Front Cover” in
Section 3.2.
2.
Unfasten the black protective cover and fold it away from the TAM board.
3.
Loosen the retaining screw on the TAM board (Figure 62 “A”).

Disconnect the alarms cable that is connected to the FP board. (Figure 63 “A”)
5.
Disconnect the TAM board alarms cable that is routed to the rear of the chassis.
