Scanning begins, a connection to the FTP server is established, and uploading 
of the scan data begins.

Note 

To stop scanning, press the [Clear/Stop] key.

If the transmission could not be completed correctly, a transmission result report 
is printed.

To cancel a queued transmission of scan data, press the [Function] key, and then 
select “CANCEL RESERV.”. For details, refer to the User’s Guide for fax kit 
FAX-4000.

Detail 

Only FTP server address registered as speed dial numbers can be specified. FTP 
server addresses can be registered as speed dial number by using Easy Web Man-
agement. Refer to “Registering speed dial destinations (FTP servers)” on 
page 8-14.

A notification of the FTP server address where the data was uploaded can be sent 
to up to 10 specified recipients.
When registering the speed dial destination with Easy Web Management, select 
“E-mail Notification”. Refer to “Registering speed dial destinations (FTP serv-
ers)” on page 8-14.
