(4) Pull out the cover tray, and install the Installa-
tion plate 4. (TP screw M4x10: 1pc.)
Note:
If the screw holes of the Installation plate 2 and the
Installation plate 4 do not align, adjust them by the
height of the casters on the PB-501.
8. Remove the top cover of the book receptacle (2
screws).
(For the 1050 series only)
Note:
A connector is on the rear side of the top cover.
Make sure not to forcibly disconnect the connector
when opening the top cover.
9. Turn OFF the DIP SW1.
(For the 1050 series only)
Note:
• This procedure is required because by default it
is set for a C6500/C6501 series. (Factory
default of SW1: ON)
• Do not change other switches.
10. Install the top cover on the book receptacle (2
screws).
11. Perform a software update (ISW).
For ISW procedures, see the service manual.

The software is designed for the C6500/C6501
series, so be sure to run it.
