SNMP
The Interfaces/Ethernet/SNMP win-
dow provides the following parame-
ters for configuration:
Printer Name Identifies the printer name
1–32 characters
Printer Description Displays the printer description
1–32 characters
Submit Button Sends changes made to the parameters in this
window to the printer.
Reset Button Clears any changes made to the settings on this
page.
Parameter Description
Enable SNMP If selected, enables the parameter settings for
SNMP.
(Default=Checked)
(NMS1 & NMS2)
Community Identifies the IP community of the printer.
1–32 characters
(NMS1 Default=Public; NMS2 Default=Private)
(NMS1 & NMS2)
Access Identifies Read or Write access.
(NMS1 Default=Read; NMS2 Default=Read/Write)
Enable Trap When this check box is selected (checked), the
Trap parameters (below the check box) are
enabled.
(Default=Not checked)
Community Identifies the community of the printer.
1–32 characters (Default=Public)
