The 

Configuration/Emulation/Post-

Script 

window provides the following 

parameters for configuration:

Auto-Sense Default

   

When Auto Default is selected as the Default 
Emulation (see above), the printer samples the 
incoming print job to try to determine the correct 
emulation to use for the job. If the printer is unable 
to discern the emulation of an incoming print job, 
the setting for this parameter is used as the 
emulation. Choices are

LINEPRINTER
PCL (Default)
POSTSCRIPT

Submit button

Saves and applies any changes made to 
parameter settings.

Reset button

If you made changes to any of the parameter 
settings but don’t wish to apply the changes, 
selecting this button restores the last submitted 
parameter settings.

Save Custom button

Saves the Current values of the parameters as the 
Custom settings. Using the Restore Custom but-
ton, you can change the parameter settings back 
to the Custom settings after changes are made.

Restore Custom button Changes all parameter settings to the Custom 

values.

Restore Factory button Changes all parameter settings to the Factory 

values.
