Transmission Function

8.2.1

Original Scan Mode

The original scan mode is roughly classified by the regular original scan and the

irregular original scan.

8.2.2

Book Transmission

One page of document set on the platen (or ADF) is divided into two pages of documents and

transmitted.

Method of selection

Select the book transmission and choose either scanning from the left or scanning from the right. The

frame erasure is automatically selected in this case.

It can be selected in the application function menu to set either scanning from the left or scanning

from the right.

Document size

The document size of book transmission is either A3R or B4R. Two pages of A4 documents or two

pages of B5 documents are transmitted. In the case that the document sizes other than the above are

used, a warning is displayed in the main menu and scanning does not start.

Scan Mode Default Setting

The scan mode can be set by using the function parameter of the service mode. The default is the

RADF irregular mode.
