B. Lift up the mounting ring to the sink flange, move the elastic
washer and then remove the mounting ring (see Figure 3B).
C. Screw down the screw support ring from the sink flange and
then remove the fiber washer (see Figure 3C).
D. The rubber washer can be used to replace putty on a
stainless steel sink. However other sinks may still need putty.
E. If no putty will be used, the rubber washer can be put
directly onto the sink flange. Insert into the sink plughole
(see Figure 3E).
F. If you will use a putty sealing, apply a complete round of
putty on the lower surface of the sink flange, then insert it
into the sink plughole and press down forcibly to squeeze
out any excess putty. Also clean the underneath of the sink
plughole (see Figure 3F).
