Operating the Whirlpool System
NOTE:
This is a combination whirlpool and airbath, and includes a heated back surface. For information
on using the airbath features, refer to the

Start/Stop the Whirlpool Jets
Enter the bath, then close and latch the door.
Position the jet nozzles downward and turn the jet trim rings fully counterclockwise.
Use your hand to test the water temperature before closing the drain and filling the bath.
Fill the bath at least 2
″
(51 mm) above the highest whirlpool jets.
Press the air switch actuator to turn the whirlpool on. The in-line heater will turn on automatically.
Press the air switch actuator a second time to turn the whirlpool and in-line heater off.
When you are done bathing, open the drain and remain seated while the water drains from the
bath.
When the water has drained from the bath, unlatch and open the door.
Carefully exit the bath.

Adjust Air/Water Mix
Adjust each jet for optimum air/water mixture. Turn the jet trim clockwise to reduce air flow, or
counterclockwise to increase air flow.
Flush the Whirlpool System
NOTE:
Flush the whirlpool system twice a month or more, depending on usage.
Turn the jet trim rings fully clockwise to block air induction.
Fill the bath with warm water at least 2
″
(51 mm) above the highest jets, or leave water in the bath
after use.
Add 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of a low-foaming, powder automatic dishwasher detergent and 20 ounces
(590 ml) of household bleach (5% - 6% sodium hypochlorite) to the water.
Run the whirlpool for 5 to 10 minutes. Turn off the whirlpool and drain.
Rinse the surfaces of the bath, jets, faucet, handrails, and drain. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Fill with water at least 2" (51 mm)
above the highest jet.
Turn the jet trim ring
clockwise to
decrease the flow.
Position the jet
nozzles to direct
the water flow as
desired.
Turn the jet trim ring counterclockwise
to increase the flow.
