Pin
Description
Pin 2
OUT1 (regeneration load)
A small output current (max 2A) is delivered under specific conditions only, with the same voltage supplied to
the panel, which can be used to apply a parasitic load for DPF regeneration and SCR desulphurisation.
The client shall provide the harness and auxiliary machine for the parasitic load to be applied.
Conditions under which OUT1 is activated:
- CONDITION 1: forced regeneration underway and engine load below 20%.
- CONDITION 2: soot percentage between 80 and 90%, engine load below 50% and forced regeneration not
underway.
- CONDITION 3: coolant temperature below 65°C.
- CONDITION 4: request of SCR desulphurisation and load below 15%.
The load is activated when at least one condition occurs.
For deactivation, a hysteresis on the load percentage can be set from the menu.
Pin 4
FREE IN 1 (positive digital input).
When powered by a positive signal (range 8-30 V), the General Alarm 1 warning light (ref. Display 1 warning
lights box, p. 24) is displayed on the main page of ATS45.
It can be used by the client to inform of a machine error.
Pin 10
FREE IN 2 (negative digital input).
When it is grounded, the General Alarm 2 warning light (ref. Display 1 warning lights box p. 24) is displayed on
the main page of ATS45.
It can be used by the client to inform of a machine error.
Pin 11
OUT2 (high load).
When the engine load is higher than 94%, a small output current is delivered (max 2A) with the same voltage
supplied to the panel.
This current can be used to apply an auxiliary load and provide extra torque and to reach the short power picks
requested to the engine by the machine (at the client’s charge).
For deactivation, a hysteresis on the load percentage can be set from the menu.
Pin 15
OUT ALARM (positive output).
In the event of ECU errors, a positive voltage occurs – equal to the voltage supplied to the panel – which can
be used to switch on a LED warning light or as a signal to a client’s machine ECU. Max current: 2A.
Pin 17
Pin 19
Pins normally closed, used only in case of two control panels in parallel – feature under development.
