Maintenance
Changing the hydraulic drive oil - technical personnel only
The oil filter must be replaced after the first 25 hours of operating and after that every 100
hours of operation. The service should be carried by an authorised
workshop.
•
The oil change should be carried out in conjunction with an oil filter change (refer to the
appendix – spare parts list for spare part no.).
•
Allow the drive to run for a short while before changing the oil, so that the oil can drain out
more easily.
•
Remove the dipstick (fig. 32 - page 35).
Caution – the oil can be hot!
•
Place a collecting container under the oil drain pipe (fig. 36).
•
Unscrew the oil drain plug - CAUTION - the oil can be hot!
•
Drain the oil, then screw in the drain plug again and tighten it firmly.
•
Unscrew the oil filter flange – 4 screws (fig. 34 - page 37) - CAUTION - the oil can be hot!
•
Exchange the filter element with the o-ring.
•
Examine the o-ring on the oil filter cover for damage and aging and replace it if necessary!
•
Firmly screw the oil filter cover on again.
•
Carefully pour in the oil (engine oil 10W-30, approx. 6.5 litres) through the oil filler neck.
•
Unscrew the oil vent screw on the oil filter housing (fig. 34).
•
Carefully pour in the remaining oil (approx. 0.5 - 1.0 litre) until oil runs out of the vent ap-
erture on the filter housing.
•
Firmly screw in the oil vent screw on the oil filter housing.
•
Firmly screw in the dipstick again.
•
Start and let the oil pump run for a short time.
•
Check the piping system for leaks
•
Check the oil level.
