Troubleshooting and Error Messages

Warning
The following procedures must be done by Key Operators who have been trained by
Kodak.
• Always clean and rinse all described parts outside of the Multiloader.
• Always disconnect the main power (either the mains plug, grasp the mains plug
only, or move the wall-mounted main switch to the "0" position) from the
Multiloader.

Overlapping of Films
• • • • Feed only compatible films.
• • Check that all Racks and Crossovers are seated
correctly.
• • Check that the surfaces of all Rollers are clean
and smooth.
• • • Check that all Dryer Air Tubes are installed.
• • Remove any dirt from the Dryer Rollers and Air
Tubes, especially the Air Tube slot and Air
Diffuser. Use a Bottle Brush and rinse with
water.
• • • • Check the settings for correct replenishment.
Check the external tubing of the replenishment
system (i.e. tubing outside of the Multiloader)
for kinks.
• Adjust the Dryer temperature control setting to
the lowest possible temperature consistent with
good film drying quality.
• • • • • Change any chemicals that were not mixed
correctly, are exhausted, or are contaminated.
Check that replenishment rates are correctly set.
Fill the Replenishment Tanks if necessary. Mix
the developer replenisher in quantities not to
exceed a 2-week supply. Always use a Splash
Guard and Rack Drip Tray when lifting the
Racks to prevent contamination. Mix chemicals
as directed.
• • Check that the Drain Valves are completely
closed. Check that the Tanks are full.
• • • Check that all Rollers, Gears, Sprockets, and
idlers are engaged and rotate freely.
• • • Replace defective Rack Rollers.
