depending on what side(s) you want to configure.
NOTE: The
Two Sided
and
One Sided - Back
options are only available
for duplex scanner models.
Different settings per side
— by default, the settings you select in the
TWAIN Datasource apply to both sides of the image. Turn this option on
if you want you to select different image processing settings for each
side of the document you are scanning. For example, if you want the
front side to be color and the rear side to be black and white, first make
sure that you have selected the
Two Sided
option of
Input document is
,
then turn on
Different settings per side
.
Once you have done this, the
Side
option on the Image Settings
window will no longer be grayed out and you can select different
settings for each side.
Now that you have turned on
Different settings per side
, your
selections will apply only to the front side of the document you are
scanning. After you have made your selections for the front side, use
the Side option to select the back side and then make the settings you
want to apply to the back.
NOTE: The
Different settings per side
option is only available for duplex
scanner models.
