IMPORTANT:
If the roll media has not been fed straight or incorrectly, messages
such as, “media error” or “media jam error” are shown on the
control panel. If necessary, reload the media following the
instructions above.
Checking that the Media is Parallel
1. During the media detection sequence, make sure that the roll media is parallel. After
media detection, check the position of the right side of the roll media. If the roll
media position now is:
•
almost on the same line as it was before closing the cover, media loading was
performed successfully. Go to Step 1 "Making a Test Print".
•
not on the same position as it was before closing the cover, go to Step 1,
"Adjusting the Roll Media Position".
Adjusting the Roll Media Position
1. From the front of the printer turn the
scroller receiver screw counterclockwise
to move the roll media to the right
2. From the front of the printer, turn the
scroller receiver screw clockwise to
move the roll media to the left
