Digital Inputs (DIG.IN)
These four inputs are intended as a trigger (start signal) input for the start
signal that is distributed by the injection system. They work with contact
closure on mass and are compatible with TTL/CMOS or the Open
Collector. If the channels are used in separated systems, then every
channel can be separately started.

Digital Outputs (DIG.OUT)
These four outputs are carried out in electromechanical relays with a
single pole double trough (SPDT). They can be selected as NO (normally
open; connection 2-3, see the back panel view) or NC (normally closed
connection 1-2, see the back panel view). Pulse or continuous signals
can be programmed. The length of a pulse contains approximately 1s;
the length of the continuous signal can be freely programmed.

RS-232 Interface
This interface is a 9-pin standard RS-232 interface (also known as a
serial interface or COM port) and is connected to a PC in order to realize

Connecting the Smartline Manager 5000 Interface Module
Power supply
The power supply is secured with the connection of the Smartline Pump
1000 (with a “PUMP” labeled socket on the back panel of the Smartline
Manager 5000). The required cable is included in the Smartline Manager
5000’s accessory kit.
