Operation
Integrating the Detector into the System
To integrate the detector into a system, note the ambient conditions found
in the section Technical Data as well as the ambient conditions of other
devices to be integrated into that system.
The detector is integrated into the HPLC flow system by connecting the
capillary to the flow cell and the HPLC system.
Torque
Stainless steel fittings are tightened with 5 Nm, PEEK fittings are tightened
with 0.5 Nm.
Pre-Installed Capillaries
Pre-installed stainless steel and PEEK capillaries are color-coded according to
their inner diameter.
Note:
PEEK capillaries are not suitable for use with pure acetonitrile. Aceto-
nitrile can cause capillaries to crack or rupture.
