17.2 Earthing the 1D VESA Mount, 1D VESA Mount Cockpit View and
VESA Mount Rear
• Place the first contact washer D4,1 on
the cross recessed head screw
M4 x 16 mm DIN 7985.
• Place the cross recessed head screw
through the drill hole in the 1D VESA
mount/1D VESA mount Cockpit View
or VESA mount rear .
• Place the second contact washer D4,1
on the cross recessed head screw .
• Attach the earthing shoe of the earthing
cable and the third contact
washer D4,1 .
• Attach and tighten a hexagonal
nut M4 .

Make sure the earthing cable is safely in place:
• The earthing shoe of the earthing cable must butt against the 1D VESA mount/1D VESA
mount Cockpit View
or VESA mount rear .
• The 2 contact washers D4,1 / must be placed in front of and behind the earthing shoe
of the earthing cable .
•
The hexagonal nut M4 must be tightened.
• Stick an earthing symbol (not illustrated) onto the 1D VESA mount/1D VESA mount
Cockpit View
or VESA mount rear next to the earthing point.
