5.3. Unpacking
WARNING! Packaging straps are mechanically tensioned and can recoil when
cut. Risk of injuries!
Remove carefully all tapes, films, protection corners and spacers. Optional accessories may also
be located under the film. Ensure that these are also not damaged.
The packaging can be recycled according to the local regulations. Refer to the following table for
details of the packaging materials used:

5.4. Storage
If the chiller is stored for longer than one month it should remain in the transport packaging or re-
packed.
The following conditions must be maintained during storage:
 Avoid direct sunlight and moisture

Ambient temperature - 30°C to + 50°C
To avoid frost damage the cold water circuit must be drained completely before the chiller is placed
in storage and if necessary flushed with a mixture of water and antifreeze (see
Chapter 11.1
Draining ).
