Safety Vessel Connections (Pressure Relief Valve (PRV))
Rated at 90 psi, the PRV may discharge heat transfer fluid (Tyfocor). Check with local regulations to see where this
discharge must be routed. In some cases it may need to be collected so that it does not ether the sewer coming out of
the house.
Kingspan Tribune Hot Water Tank
The Kingspan Tribune pressurized tank is made from Duplex Stainless Steel for excellent corrosion resistance. The
Kingspan Tribune has a strong rust-proofed steel case and is highly insulated with environmentally friendly foam for an
R value of 15.
Kingspan Tribune tanks can be supplied in a single or dual coil configuration. This allows a variety of back up heat
sources to be used. In the single coil configuration this can be connected to a boiler or solar circuit. Twin coil tanks the
lower coil is connected to a solar circuit and the top coil to a boiler system for backup. Single coil tanks are supplied
with an electric element for backup.
