General Cleaning
8. Replace with a new spark plug if either the electrode or the insulation is
damaged.
9. When replacing the spark plug (7a), first screw it in hand tight and then lightly
tighten it with the multi-tool (31).
10. Refit the spark plug connector (7); ensure the rubber pad around the spark
plug connector is in correct position.
WARNING!
Do not over tighten the spark plug (7a) to avoid any
damage!
11. Re-attach the air filter cover (6a) and secure it with the fixing screw (6)
afterward.
Fuel tank
1. Empty the fuel tank when storing the product over 30 days to prevent the fuel
deteriorating.
2. Unscrew and remove the fuel tank cap (25) and use a proper fuel pump to
empty the fuel into a suitable container.
WARNING!
Do not store the fuel in the fuel mixing bottle (30)!
Fuel filter
The fuel tank of this product is fitted with a filter, which is attached on the end of
the fuel pipe. Ask an authorised service centre or a similarly qualified person to
check and replace the filter at regular intervals if required.
Carburettor
The carburettor has been carefully set at the factory. The cutting attachment must
not rotate in correct idle speed. Adjustment may be necessary if you notice that
the engine is not in correct idle speed (i.e engine stalls or the cutting attachment
keeps rotating when the throttle is released). Idle speed adjustment must be
carried out by a trained technician or Contact an authorised service centre or
dealer to do.
WARNING!
Keep others away when masking idle speed adjustment.
Keep cutting attachment off the ground and will not contact with any
object. The cutting attachment will be running during this procedure.
Wear protective equipment and observe all safety precautions.
