WARNING!
The direction of the saw chain ‘cutters’ must be as indicated
by the symbol and arrow on the guide bar (11)!
5. Place the saw chain (10) over the drive sprocket (21) (behind the clutch (20))
and fit around the guide bar (11). Make sure the saw chain (10) is placed
above the chain catcher (19) (Fig. 4).
6. The saw chain movement is as indicated by the arrow (Fig. 5). Make sure the
saw chain (10) is properly placed over the sprocket wheel (11b) of the guide
bar (11).
7. Pull the guide bar (11) carefully towards the right to tighten the saw chain (10)
(Fig. 5).

WARNING!
Pull the front hand guard (9) fully backward to keep the
chain brake disengaged before fitting the cover (14).
8. Fit the cover (14). If necessary, turn the tension screw (13) clockwise or
anticlockwise with the multi-tool (31) to adjust the tension pin (13a) until it
reaches a position where it can be inserted into the tension hole (11c) (Fig. 6).
9. Secure the cover (14) with the retaining nuts (12) (Fig. 7).
