Care and maintenance
1. Loosen the fixing screw (6) (Fig. 52,
step 1) and remove the air filter cover
(6a) to reach the air filter (6b).
2. Remove the air filter (6b) from the
supporting bolt, and keep the rubber
sealing (6c) in place to avoid loss (Fig.
52, step 2).
3. Tap the air filter (6b) on a solid surface
to remove dust.
4. Apply a small amount of air filter oil
on the air filter (6b) to increase the
performance of the air filter. Wring out
surplus oil and pass the air filter (6b)
through the supporting bolt. Ensure
the rubbing sealing (6c) is in place.
5. Re-attach the air filter cover (6a) and
secure it with the fixing screw (6).

Spark plug
Inspect the spark plug (7a) every 25 hours or prior to long-term storage over
30 days if the use has not been this high. Clean or replace with a new one if
necessary.
1. Loosen the fixing screw (6) (Fig. 53, step 1) and remove the air filter cover
(6a) to reach the spark plug connector (7).
2. Disconnect the spark plug connector (7) (Fig. 53, step 1).
3. Loosen the spark plug (7a) anticlockwise using the multi-tool (31) and remove
it carefully (Fig. 53, step 2).

4. Check the spark plug (7a) for damage and wear. The colour
of the electrode should be light-brown coloured.
5. Remove debris from the electrode with a soft wired brush;
avoid heavy cleaning of the electrode.
6. Dry the spark plug (7a) with a soft cloth if it is wet from fuel.
7. Check the spark plug gap. It should be 0.5 mm (Fig. 54). 0.5 mm
