To change the code, highlight the old code, or delete the old code (which appears as a set of
asterisks only), and type in your new code. To store the code, click on “Save Codes” button
(FIGURE 21).
The preferences frame on the left side of the application is for the recorded phone message
levels. Adjust the Play Volume slider to set the volume of the played back message. Adjust the
Record Gain slider to control the level that a phone message is recorded. Factory defaults are set
into the unit at shipment, and should not require changes in most applications (FIGURE 22).
The Show VU and Hang-up buttons are for troubleshooting only (FIGURE 22).
