Channel
Software settings for each
channel
The settings for Channel 1 and 2 are fixed as the following:
Channel 1: Battery Emulator
Channel 2: Power Detector
Select any of the following modules for Channel 3 and 4:
– Current meter
– Voltage meter
– 2-Q Power Supply
Selecting the 2-Q Power Supply module for Channel 3 or 4 will
require user to set a voltage in order to measure current.
Note: Current measured could be a positive or negative value.
Clear the Enable check box of the respective channels that are not in
use to disable the settings in
Note: Channel 1 Battery Emulator sets constant voltage and measure
current. The current limit functions to protect the DUT and act as
measurement range. When the limit is set to less than 0.1A, the
X8712AD will use 10 µA range to obtain sub µA accuracy.
