Received Channel Power cannot be accurately measured using a V2X DUT,
instead connect the RF cable that would normally be connected to the DUT to the
VXT RFHD port as shown by the blue dotted connector in the diagram below. This
way allows measuring of all the cable losses introduced by the cables, either RF
switch or splitter. The only additional loss component that is still unknown is the
insertion loss into the DUT, which may be different for each DUT. This value is
normally provided on the DUT manufacturer’s website/documentation.

PXIe Chassis Connection
This test step generates a DSRC Waveform and measures the received channel
power for the two paths used in the test system.
– Path 1 (used for Receiver sensitivity testing):
– VXT RFOUT -> RF Switch -> VXT RFHD
DSRC Waveform generated from the RFOUT port and channel power is
measured at the RFHD port. Note that any currently configured cable loss
values will be applied.
– Path 2 (used for Transmitter testing):
– VXT RFHD -> RF Switch -> VXT RFIN
