Software Installation
The SW components required for the E6953A V2X test solution are installed
separately. Please install the components in the following order:
1 Install the VXT SW M9420A/21A VXT Vector Transceiver WLAN Measurement
application.
Installation steps can be found in the
M9420A/21A VXT Vector Transceiver
Getting Started Guide . The latest version of this SW package should be used.
2 Install the TAP Development System application.
Installation steps can be found in the "Installing TAP" section of
TAP Training:
Introduction to using TAP . The current supported revision of the TAP system is
version 7.4.
3 Install the V2X specific TAP Plugins.
The plugins can either be installed by downloading each of the following files
onto the PXI Controller hard drive and then either double clicking on each of
the plugin files or by using the TAP Plugin Manager - see TAP Training:

– V2XFramework.w.x.y.z.TapPlugin
– V2XOmniAir80211pPhy.w.x.y.z.TapPlugin
– V2XOmniAir80211pMac.w.x.y.z.TapPlugin
– V2XOmniAirDSRCProtocol.w.x.y.z.TapPlugin
– V2XTCI.w.x.y.z.TapPlugin
These plugin components will install all the necessary DLLs into the Windows
TAP folder (C:\Program Files\Keysight\TAP) and V2X test plans into Test Plans
folder (C:\Program Files\Keysight\TAP\V2X\TestPlans).
NOTE
The V2XFramework TAP Plugin is required, before installing other V2X Tap
Plugins to execute the V2X test steps. The V2XTCI Tap Plugin is used to enable
the V2X DUT Test Control Interface.
