Keysight E6953A V2X Test Solution Installation & User Guide

Certificate Update

The transceiver card needs certificate for security purposes and below are the 

steps to setup the certificate:

Obtaining Certificate 

To update certificate on Transceiver card, user need to obtain appropriate 

certificate from certificate issuer. Currently it is available from Green Hill Software.

Copy Certificates to Transceiver card 

Once certificates are obtained, user needs to copy the certificates to the 

Transceiver card. Copying can be done by using "tftp" . The certificates need to be 

copied to a temporary directory made by the user.
For example,

Unzip files 

Certificates are zip files, new directories need to be setup before unzipping the 

certificate files. The directories needed are as below:

– ./work/rsu 
– ./work/obu 
Unzip the certificate files to each directory as below:
– unzip [file name] - d obu (for OBU certificate) 
– unzip [file name] - d rsu (for RSU certificate)

Making certificates for RSU 

Once the certificate files are unzipped, create the certificate using the commands 

below. As an example, the RSU certificate will be created below:

– cd  rsu
– mkdir output
– certadm add - binary rse - 0/trustedcerts/pca
