Keysight 8990B Programming Guide

Remarks

– This command is only applicable for channels 2 and 3. If a channel other than

channel 2 or 3 is specified, error 701,“Applicable to channel 2 and 3 only” will

occur.

– If you set an offset value which exceeds its minimum or maximum limit, the

value will be clipped to its minimum or maximum value respectively. Error

–222,“Data out of range;Value clipped to minimum (#)” or –222,“Data out of

range;Value clipped to maximum (#)” will occur.

– If channel 1 or 4 is not connected, error –241,“Hardware missing; Sensor is not

found in channel <channel>.” will occur.

Reset condition

On reset, the offset is set to 0.

Query

CHANnel{2|3}:OFFSet?

This query returns the current setting of the offset for the specified channel. The

response format is

<NRf>

Query example

CHAN2:OFFS?

Queries the offset setting for channel 2.
