2. Connection of the modem in the control unit
The wires must be connected according to the
following colour code system*:

3. Settings
The following settings must be made:

Enter access code 1000
Assign station name
8.
Select the „station name“ item and

confirm by pressing „OK“

Enter station name
Enter own number
11.
Select the „own number“ item and
12.
confirm by pressing „OK“
13.
Enter own number with national code (e.g. +49 for Germany) and

confirm by pressing „OK“
Select modem type
15.
Change from „direct connection“ to „GSM modem“ and

confirm by pressing „OK“

When changing to GSM modem the communication is activated
Enter PIN

Enter the „PIN“ (sent by the network provider together with the SIM card) here and

Central number for text messages

Enter the number for the central text message number (overview of these central numbers as of 11/2013 is enclo-
sed). If fields are not used, the cursor keys must be pressed until the fields are empty.

„Text message number 1-3“ Enter the number of the person(s) to be informed in the event of a
malfunction (can be up to three different numbers).

Confirm by pressing „OK“ and then press „ESC“ to return to the main menu or wait for 1 minute
