Master PXL is
unable to
communicate to
a single Slave
PXL connected
via Ethernet.
•
The J103 lead on the
Slave’s NC-485X is
reversed.
•
Remote IP address or
Port number does not
match the LAN-520X
Master Port number.
•
IP Address is not
reachable from the
Master LAN-520X to
the Slave LAN-520X.
•
If communicating to a
unit outside the
network subnet, the
Gateway IP Address is
not set in the LAN-
520X Master or Slave.
•
Verify Pin 1 on the J103 connector lead is
connected to Pin 1 on JP-9 on the PXL.
•
Verify the IP Address and Port number of the
LAN-520X Master matches the Remote IP
address and Port number on the slaves. The
default Port number for Channel 2 is 10002.
•
IP Address, routing, or subnet mask may be
incorrect. Consult Network Administrator.
•
Enter the Gateway IP Address in the Server
Properties of the LAN-520X (may be Master
or Slave).
Master PXL is
unable to

any Slave PXL.

Communication
errors are
received in
Doors during an
Update Net,
Collect Events,
or Event
Monitoring.
•
High latency or low
bandwidth is causing
the PXL Master to time
out waiting on a
response from the PXL
Slave.
•
Ping time should be under 300ms for optimal
communication. If not, consult Network
Administrator.
