Enter the BASS mode or TREBLE
mode.

Each press sw itches the display.

Turning EX.BASS on sw itches off the N.B. (Natural Bass)
boosting automatically.

Turning EX.BASS on replaces the levels set using the multi
control w ith the level preset w ith the EX.BASS function.

Turning EX.BASS off recalls the bass and treble levels set
w ith the multi control.

Pressing the sw itch in the EX.BASS mode returns to the
normal mode and the EX.BASS indicator goes off.

Both BASS and TREBLE can be adjusted in the range
betw een -10 and +10.

The bass level enhancement is effective in listening at a low
volume. The treble level is enhanced to a predetermined level
regardless of the current volume setting.

Press the M ODE key w hile “TUNING” is dis-
played.
To enter BASS adjustment mode: Display “BASS”.
To enter TREBLE adjustment mode: Display “TREBLE”.

While “BASS” or “TREB” is displayed, turn
the multi control to set to the desired level.
During tuner reception
During playback of a CD, etc.
(in other modes than TUNER mode)
